Supporting our communities

At Finli, our purpose is to help people live their best financial life. As a growing national business, we believe in sharing that success in a way that supports the communities around us.

“As Finli grows, we want to make sure our success benefits more than just our business. Supporting charitable causes is an important way for us to give back to the communities around us and one that resonates with both our clients and colleagues”.

Andy Thompson,
Group CEO

That is why we have chosen to partner with Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer Scotland.

Dementia affects nearly one million people across the UK, with many more families and carers supporting loved ones every day. It is a condition that touches countless lives, often bringing emotional, practical and financial challenges.

Both charities provide vital support, from practical guidance, care to funding research that improves diagnosis, treatment and quality of life.

How we're making a difference

One of the most meaningful ways we support our charity partners is through the Charity Referral Programme.

When you introduce someone to Finli and that introduction leads to a new client, we will donate £100 to Alzheimer’s Society or Alzheimer Scotland on your behalf.

It is a simple way to turn a personal recommendation into something that helps others.

Your introduction could help fund vital services such as:

Practical advice and support following a diagnosis
Access to dementia advisers
Ongoing research into better care and treatment
Support for carers and families

There is no limit to the number of introductions you can make. Every conversation helps make a difference.

Coming together through fundraising

Alongside our referral programme, we bring colleagues together to support our charity partners through shared challenges and events.

The Finli Virtual Relay is a nationwide team challenge where colleagues work together to cover over 1,200 miles, reflecting the distance between our offices from Orkney to Arundel, raising awareness and support for those affected by dementia.

We also share updates on our wider fundraising activity through our colleagues’ JustGiving page.

Becoming a dementia friend

We also support Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends initiative, helping to build greater understanding of dementia in our communities.

Becoming a Dementia Friend is simple and involves a short awareness session, offering insight into how dementia affects memory and thinking, and how to better support those living with the condition.

Through this, we aim to help create more inclusive and supportive environments within Finli and beyond.

Making a difference together

Every introduction, conversation and contribution helps support people living with dementia and those who care for them.

If you would like to find out more about our charity partnership or make an introduction, please speak to your financial planner or get in touch with our team.

Together, we can turn trust into meaningful impact.
